Ian Bibleys "Red Racer"

by R27 CREATIVELAB on Monday, 29 March 2010

The kind folk at Creative Review sent out to me an original print of Ian Bibley's "Red Racer".

To Neil Ayres and CR Team I salute you! Especially as it sat on the doormat next to the latest issue of Creative Review (now in a new and sparkly resized, reformatted and redesigned look) - Subscribe and take a look for yourselves.

Back to the "Red Racer". What I especially like is the simplicity of the image and vibrancy of colour. Take a closer look and you'll see that every line stroke and it's weight has been thought about along with the attention to detail, illustrating just enough and leaving out the rest. just enough detail to give you a clean crisp image. Lovely colours used throughout his portfolio. At first glance you may say "I could do that" but look closely and you'll see why the these images work.
