"The lamp is made of gourd brought from Senegal.
More simply and fiat pattern is charted on a base of dodecahedron. I also wanted by single lines of perforation to get more skarp light effects that will be diverging steadily inside the room.
Untypical, coherent form of lamp doesn’t have evident base but there is only one position that it should stand in. Lamp has a hole that is lock by small magnets.
Thorns are made of oak wood, painted with natural oil, and finished with black waxed string. Their length are 9cm and 6cm. White carvings are deeper layer of white wood which allow some light to pass through it.
The thickness of wood in that places is also not the same so that made the effect of shading when it is shining. The diameter of gourd is 20cm and height of lamp – 32,5cm. The length of cable is 150cm."
